The Grange offers a variety of well-equipped spaces suitable for a wide range of leisure, sport, and community activities. Whether you’re planning a class, hosting an event, or running a regular group, our flexible facilities can be tailored to your needs.

Book Assembly Room

Assembly Room

Capacity: 50 people
Pricing: £18.00-£30.00 per hour

A characterful room within the original house, with period features and an elegant feel. Suited to seated events, private gatherings and smaller celebrations. Includes access to the Drawing Room Bar for your event.

Capacity: Seated 42 / Standing 50

Well suited to: Smaller parties and celebrations, corporate meetings and presentations, wakes and ceremonies.

Layouts available: Theatre-style, seated with dancefloor, and informal table seating. We’ll discuss the best layout with you when you enquire.

Equipment & services

A trestle table can be provided for your catering. Up to 3 available.
For speeches, announcements and presentations. We will set this up in advance of your booking with our speaker system.
We can provide a hot water urn, along with tea, coffee, sugar, milk and cups and saucers, for £1 per person.
Use of the Drawing Room bar, which serves the Assembly Room and is open to the public seven days a week. If your event begins before our usual opening hours, the bar will be opened for your event. Please use the comments section to confirm your guest arrival and departure times so we can plan accordingly.
Use of the built-in screen and projector within the Assembly Room.
Use of the in-build sound system in the Assembly Room, connectable via Bluetooth.

Book Large Hall

Large Hall

Capacity: 200 people (min 51)
Pricing: £26.00-£40.00 per hour

Our main event space. A large, flexible room with a full stage, BBC-standard PA, professional sprung dancefloor and a private staffed bar. The room can be configured for a wide range of uses and connects easily to the gardens.

Well suited to: Weddings, parties, celebrations, live music and performances, conferences, awards evenings, community events and ticketed events.

Layouts available: Cabaret, theatre, banquet, dancefloor. Please note, the room is a flexible space and we may be able to accommodate beyond the above capacities. We will discuss layout with you when you enquire.

A fully stocked and staffed private bar within the Large Hall, available during your event while guests are in attendance. Please use the comments section to confirm your guest arrival and departure times so we can schedule the bar service accordingly.
Use of the built-in screen in the Large Hall (carpeted bar area). If you require projection, please also add 'Projector Hire', as this is not included.
Use of a portable projector, shared between the Large Hall and Tippling Room. If you are using any screen in these rooms, this must be added to your booking to ensure it is reserved for your date.
A movable screen that can be positioned within your room. Large Hall: Use this if you require a screen in a different position to the fixed screen in the carpeted area Tippling Room: There is no fixed screen, so this must be added if a screen is required If you require projection, please also add AV: Projector Hire, as this is not included.
Use of the stage in the Large Hall (e.g. for bands, DJs or performances). Use of the stage must be requested as part of your booking and approved in advance. Please use the comments section to briefly outline how the stage will be used.
For live bands, DJs and performances requiring our stage sound system, including microphones and our sound engineer. Many performers bring their own equipment as standard. Please check with your band or DJ before adding this to your booking, as it may not be required.
For background music from your own device. Speakers are positioned around the room and connect via Bluetooth or AUX.

Book Tippling Room

Tippling Room

Capacity: 20 people
Pricing: £10.00-£15.00 per hour

A smaller, practical room. Well suited to meetings, workshops and focused sessions. Can also be used as a breakout space during larger events, or ceremony room.
